Kids grow up to be like their parents in some ways and different in other ways. If your parents are tall, you are more likely to be tall. If they have blue eyes, you are more likely to have blue eyes, etc. But kids can also be different than their parents both in how they look and how they act. Sleep is very important for both kids and their parents. Getting 8 hours of sleep helps you stay well, do better in school, fight off infections, lower your risk of getting diabetes and lots of other important things. Getting to bed at the same time every night makes it easier to fall asleep.
